I dedicate this testimony to the glory of God.

In 2008, I started having chronic pelvic pain so bad that I had to be rushed to the hospital on several occasions and it kept getting worse. After series of scans it was discovered I had multiple ovarian cysts and endometriosis which is associated with difficulties in getting pregnant. It began my journey to finding a solution to the pain and getting pregnant. My gynecologist advised surgery but I intensified my prayers as the pain got worse. I also continued to attend fruitful vine and every Discovery for women rally.

I eventually went in for surgery and the surgeons told me they did their best but I would have to follow it up with a monthly injection for 3 months as they could not assess some areas because my pelvis had frozen together and they didn’t want to cause further damage. I took it in good faith and continued to pray that God would take control.

They went on to explain to me that I had to take the injection for three consecutive months for it to have full effect and I could not afford to get pregnant whilst taking my medication or two full months after my last dosage. I started getting advice from very close associates which I bluntly refused. One of them actually said I should drink hot palm oil.

On the day I was to take the last shot of the injection, I woke up that morning and I heard a voice telling me not to take the injection. My first reaction was to bind the devil knowing fully well that this was supposed to be the breakthrough we were waiting for. As I was dwelling on those thoughts, I heard a voice again saying I would do what I would do. Immediately I started to pray and I phoned my husband when I got to the office and told him what happened.

Initially he was skeptical but eventually he agreed with me and gave in. A few days after that, I was involved in a terrible accident on third mainland bridge that landed me and other occupants of the car in the hospital. Weeks passed and nothing happened and I kept holding on to my faith because God had said he would do what he would do.

One morning, as I was getting ready to go to work about a month later; I felt a strange sensation and I kept wondering why. Impulsively, I brought out the pregnancy kit which I had in my house. I was even surprised with myself, wondering what I was doing with the pregnancy kit but I knew I had the early signs of pregnancy so I took the test and surprisingly it came out positive.

I was confused and concluded that the kit must have expired so I went to the hospital the next day and it was further confirmed. I was surprised because we least expected it especially based on what the surgeons had told us. When I called them, they were equally surprised and called it unusual.

I am grateful to God because not only did I get pregnant, He saved me from spending 40,000 which was the cost of the third injection. He replaced the injection with conception and when I did a scan, the conception was actually dated to the date I should have actually taken that injection.
