Have you noticed that the life of most young adults

Are centered around these

Babes, Boys, Baffs and Bucks

Guys are beginning to have the stature of men

Babes are looking curvier and shapely.

Parents are supposed to “drop” more money

Cos they need to baff up, look good

Have some more money in their pocket

To belong …

Can I ask a question?

In a world where what rules is

If you have got it, flaunt it

What are they supposed to do?

Friends flaunt their classy phones,

Designer wears cars, summer trips, and parent’s wealth e.t.c

Should young adults be blamed?

When everything in the society speaks of

Materialism as success

Glamour as prosperity

Wealth as fulfillment.

The only wise Counselor says

We shouldn’t lay our treasure in places

Where moth and dust would destroy

We should lay our treasure in

Imperishable containers.

Young adults, I dare you to

Seek first the kingdom of God

And his righteousness and see

If every other thing would not be added unto you,

The standard of the world isn’t the true standard

So lets go back to study the

Manual of our lives…
