NOVEMBER- YOUR MONTH OF VICTORIOUS TURN-AROUND
Dearly beloved,
I warmly welcome you to November 2011, your month of victorious turnaround.
This year 2011, you will agree with me, has been quite outstanding. Indeed it has been a year of complete turnaround for many.
I know you have great testimonies! Please write to share them with me so we can rejoice together.
For some, however, I recognise it may have been a period of waiting. It is possible you still have some unmet expectations as you read this.
Do you know what? Rejoice!
As the psalmist said, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5)
So, don’t drop your expectation! There is still enough time for God to do all He has to do in your life. God has not given up on you, so don’t give up on yourself.
Someone said, “Don’t give up, though the pace seems slow – you may succeed with yet another blow.”
Whatever constitutes the crisis you are facing right now, it is your opportunity for victorious turnaround. Don’t waste that opportunity; God is about to fill your mouth with laughter. As a matter of fact, your life is about to be described by our theme scripture for the month: “When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion; we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.” (Psalm 126:1-2) • When Hannah eventually conceived after many years of bareness, her mouth was filled with laughter and her tongue with singing. • When David finally slew the Philistine giant, Goliath, after he had tormented Saul and his army for 40 days, there was joy and gladness in the whole land of Israel. • When the woman with the issue of blood finally touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and was healed, her mouth was filled with laughter. • When the lame man at the Beautiful Gate had an encounter with Peter and John and the hindering impossibility of a lifetime gave way, he walked, leaped and praised God.
So, is anything too difficult for God? No! If the stories of the people above could change, yours too can! As a matter of fact, it will in Jesus’ name.
Maintaining an expectation, then, will require an attitude of thanksgiving and rejoicing, knowing full well that whatever God has promised He will do.
A positive attitude will result in positive confession which will then usher in your desired turnaround. And there is no better way to transform your attitude than through the Word of God.
Study it. Meditate on it. Pray it like never before.
You will be celebrated across the borders of 2011 into the New Year, in Jesus’ name. In fact, you are about to enter your season of greatest celebration spiritually, physically, emotionally, financially and materially, in Jesus’ name.
